FAROUDJA/MERIDIAN 1080 MF1 & MERIDIAN 810 Reference Projector

The FAROUDJA 1080 MF1 Projector takes high performance theater to a new level, utilizing three 1920 x 1080p DILA-based display chips. With a native resolution equal to full-bandwidth High Definition, all the beauty and drama of the original source can be reproduced with stunning accuracy. Each projector is theatre optimized in our UK factory using proprietary firmware, techniques and optical equipment developed by video expert William Phelps, to offer improved contrast ratio, excellent shadow detail and film-accurate color. The Meridian Faroudja 1080 MF1 projector can be driven directly by an HDMI-equipped Meridian DVD player. Alternatively, use the DVP1080 Digital Video Processor to convert all analogue and digital high definition and standard definition sources to the native 1920 x 1080p resolution of the projector. Employing the entire suite of Faroudja’s patented technologies for color reproduction, the processor’s detail enhancement and motion tracking ensures that all sources produce film-like images full of depth and vibrant power.

The new world class Meridian 810 Reference Video System consists of two parts: a powerful 10 megapixel (4096 x 2400) 4k Ultra High Definition projector, unique in the home theatre industry, and a powerful scaler featuring Marvell Qdeo technology that upscales SD and HD sources to this stunning level of resolution for a smooth, flicker-free, cinematic experience. Indeed, the 810 system surpasses even industry Digital Cinema specifications, delivering a level of picture quality that is virtually never experienced outside a film-studio's preview theatre. Precisely calibrated at Meridian’s dedicated facilities over a period of four days using exclusive calibration technology developed by William Phelps, the projector features separate calibration for SD and HD sources. A series of high performance interchangeable lenses is available: short, medium and long-throw package systems include a motorized 2.35:1 (Cinemascope®) anamorphic lens; a very short-throw package is available for back-projection and simulator applications. The projector is designed to be mounted remotely and is controlled entirely from the scaler via RS232 and a comprehensive on-screen GUI.

PANASONIC PT-AE2000U

New PANASONIC PT-AE2000U 1080p 0.7" LCD projector is designed for home theater enthusiasts, it features remarkable detail and clarity with 1,500 lumen brightness, 16,000:1 contrast ratio and a 165W UHM Lamp. The PT-AE2000U model comes equipped with Panasonic's new optical system that's designed to display beautifully detailed images. Careful craftsmanship is incorporated into each individual optical system by highly skilled technicians to fully optimize the image for full high definition (HD) resolution. The projector's new Detail Clarity Processor analyzes frequency characteristics of each frame in three dimensions (horizontal, vertical, and along the time axis) and applies necessary sharpness at varying degrees to create natural, life-like images with exceptional clarity.
