HIGH-END PALACE - 2005 Stereophile show

Hello from The Palace,

Here are a few high-resolution photos from the 2005 Stereophile show that took place between April 28th to May 1st, 2005 in Manhattan, New York.

As you all know I take pictures every year in these shows for my own personal recollection of the systems and components. There are always a lot of rooms that are dark for because of demo purposes or way to packed at the time that I went by for me to take a decent photo. For example, the ASCENDO room provided a heck of a sound, it was packed with audiophiles, one of the best at the show, the JM Lab rooms sound wonderful. The BAT room was stunning, you even had to wait in line to get in.

WADIA, AESTHETIX & CLEARAUDIO suite looked and sounded beautiful.

CLEARAUDIO, ESOTERIC & PHATOS on the $15,000 HRS Rack.

AVID, BAT and JM Labs suite sounded wonderful.

The new four way reference 360 degree MBL 116 provided one of the best sound at the Stereophile show, it sounded totally open, refine, dynamic, like live music. Also shown is the new set of MBL 9007 Mono Blocks.

The Vandersteen and Pathos suite looked beautiful.

The VAC Phi Beta Integrated $22,000.00 and Von Schweikert VR-4 Sr $8000 sounded superb.

LAMM abd KHARMA suite.

DCS Verdi Encore CD/SACD Transport with DSD upsampling with the DCS Elgar plus Reference DAC $34,000, VTL TL-7.5 Reference Tube Preamp $14,000, VTL Siegfried Mono Blocks $44,000 and the Peak Consult El Diablo $75,000 Reference Speaker System.

The new DCS P8i 24/192K CD Player $13,995.

New Rogue Atlas tube amplifier.

The new PATHOS INPOL2.

The new YAMAHA DPX-1200 projector provided a superb picture, $12,500.
